The Departmental SPARK Award ! Congratulations Kenny !!
Kenny is the November winner of the departmental SPARK Award. The SPARK awards were instituted earlier this year by the MMI program in our graduate school to reward students who set a standard for academic kinship – i.e. engaging in critical discussions, leading courses, organizing events etc. that raise the level of scientific discourse in the program. The winner gets a $25 gift certificate in addition to “high praise” !
